Hi there! I'm Taliyah Murphy, a Senior Accounting major on a mission to master the world of numbers. After graduation and summer break, I'll be diving straight into a Master’s of Science in Accounting (MSA) and working towards my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure. My journey in accounting has been exciting and fulfilling—I’ve volunteered doing taxes for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance/Tax Counseling for the Elderly (VITA/TCE) program, recently interned at a firm this past tax season, and looking forward to an upcoming internship. Outside the world of numbers, I’m a love eating out, catching the latest movies, and spending time outdoors. My absolute passions? Softball and teaching financial literacy. I love helping others make more informed financial decisions, which drives my commitment to community service. I'm involved in numerous programs and have clocked over 150 volunteer hours with more than 13 organizations. Life is a balance of numbers, fun, and giving back, and I’m excited about the journey ahead!
