What do you call a gal with a big heart and deep respect for education and honing her skills? Of course, you wouldn't be wrong if you said a book character like Hermione Granger; however, I was referring to myself. My similarity to her and many other female characters is likely because I cherished them as role models while growing up. Currently, I am working to obtain my degree in Chemistry with a Pre-Health/Interdisciplinary Studies emphasis and minors in Biochemistry and Leadership Studies. When I'm not studying or belly laughing with friends, I can often be found at the front desk of the Admissions Office or as a Student Ambassador throughout campus. Since becoming a CLC scholar, I've been able to surround myself with other individuals that respect the art of learning as much as I do. Here's to another year of laughter in Friday Morning Coffee and growth in the weekly seminars!
