Hello there! My name is Jace Akridge. I am a senior here at UCCS studying Data Analytics & Systems Engineering. I am thankful for the opportunity to be a Chancellor’s Leadership Class scholar because I can engage in leadership development as I pursue my school studies. I serve on the Mountain Lion Leadership Council offering ideas on how to improve our college campus. I am involved in student ministry at New Life Church as a small group leader and a peer facilitator. I am also a part of Navigators and Young Life here on the UCCS campus. These groups help me continually develop and deepen my relationship with God during college. My hobbies fluctuate with the seasons - I hike outside in the summer and I binge watch TV inside in the winter. My favorite part of CLC is the community-building events, most of which are put on by CLC scholars to help us connect with one another.
