Cherie L. Gorby, MSN, RN, FACHE- is an executive healthcare leader with over 35 years of experience in nursing and operational leadership. Cherie has been instrumental in providing mentorships to young professionals and helping them take the next step in their career advancement. She has had the privilege of working both in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors and has gained perspective on how to achieve the delicate balance between high quality outcomes and financial performance. Cherie has worked for 2 major hospital systems and the largest physician-owned practice group in Colorado, as well as helped to develop Colorado's Accountable Care program for Medicaid patients. Cherie is a Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellow and holds a Masters of Science in Nursing Leadership. She was the recipient of the Colorado Business Journal Women of Influence Award and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Healthcare Executive and a CCRN Alumni. Cherie has served on many community boards and feels privileged to be part of the CLC Community Advisory Board.
