Is the Student Life lounge open this spring semester?
Yes, we continue to be open from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. The lounge has a capacity limit and you will be required to scan in at the front desk to access the space. Please practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
Is the Student Life conference room (UC 102F) available to students?
Yes, but by reservation only. You can make this reservation by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or visiting the Student Life Front Desk.
What is the best way to set up a meeting with Student Life professional staff?
Staff members are working in shifts and will be on-campus only during certain days of the week. It is best to reach out to the professional staff directly via email or the Calendly link below.

Will non-UCCS students be able to attend UCCS events and programs?
Unfortunately, events will not be open to non-UCCS students during the spring semester.
Will students be required to wear face coverings when attending indoor and outdoor student activities and programs this fall?
Face coverings will be a requirement in any space involving multiple people. Face coverings will be available in certain high-traffic locations across campus. Exceptions to wearing a face covering or shield include:
When in a private office alone, individuals are permitted to remove a face covering
When eating or drinking
When outside and at least six feet away from the nearest person
Will there be a club fair this spring?
Club Fair is tentatively scheduled March 1st - March 5th. Please check back early this spring semester to find out more details!
Are clubs able to meet on campus?
Starting January 19th, clubs will be able to meet on campus.
Can clubs host events on campus?
Starting January 19th, clubs will be able to host events on campus. Please follow campus guidance for hosting events.
Are clubs allowed to travel this year?
No travel is permitted for the fall and spring semester. Clubs can travel locally for the day. Clubs will be required to fill out an Event Form for approval. Clubs are not allowed to stay overnight or leave the local area.
Will SGA still host Budget Advisory Meetings (BAC) and Senate meetings on campus?
No. SGA will be hosting Budget Advisory Committee meetings and Senate meetings via Zoom. The Zoom meeting will be available via the Mountain Lion Connect event. BAC will be at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Senate will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays.
